First Thoughts on TLS!

picked her up Thursday midday....with Whitetrash.Covered 400 miles on her already so thought would write it up.

Candy Red TLS 2001 model but with 97 ECU,Art cans and also EMC filter and a diff Airbox.Sounds awesome.

I can bet myself money that I would be faster on the blade, not much but abit....doesn't handle as well as the blade and probably doesn't look as nice but the TL in my eyes is a much better bike for the road.

Engine is awesome for the road, lazy engine so to speak and and so torque mad. Never had the back spin so much and im not even that confident on it yet esp with a new front tyre and slippy roads in certain parts.

handling...again with my new front tyre....cant really push it but is very active.Blade was much smoother and moved around alot less.

could write alot more but in a rush.

On track the Blade would go alot quicker alot easier which is important on track but on the road, fun is the main thing and the TL has so much of it.

Alot of power at low revs.....dont have to use the gear box as much, sounds awesome and is very lively but not really scary wise(well in my eyes it isn't lol) but a massive grin factor.

As whitetrash commented after riding my fav local road the a39 from Bridgy to Minehead "when in the twisties which you know, the TL made sense".

pics will follow as will vids 8)
Jewell,very happy boy. 8)

in a way i wish i never got rid of mine, the sound was awesome with the harris cans, will have another v-twin for march time hopefully.

i had so much fun on it,front wheel was an ass to keep down which wasnt always a bad thing lol

the rear of them loves to slide and tyre bills come in quite expensive but im glad you got one mate just to experience what they are like to own, treat them with respect and all the bad press they come with wont be worth shit compared to the grin on your fce!!
