New bike

I've been out on the bike this afternoon with Nick.

We stopped in SP for a look around.

I couldn't resist it, and ended up buying a Jet black CBR900 Fireblade.

Glad Nick was with me, as they gave me twice as much more part exchange than I was expecting, 'cause he's a loyal customer.

Pick it up early next week, so you should see it on wednesday at the pub meet.

Will post up some pics once I have it.

Nice bike...

Not as new as Jim's new Fireblade...but still nice...

He couldn't decide between that one or a black Kwacker ninja 750...

We discussed it with Dave and Steve, and thought it best to take the natural progression from a CBR600 to the Fireblade.

I test rode it for him, as he was a bit nervous...

and it ran out of fuel...

I didn't go that far...

I like the Bullet holes Air intakes in the front fairing...

It's in for pre-release on monday morning...New MOT etc...

So he should have it on Wednesday night at the pub meet...

did you see an Akrapovic shod K2 gixxer thou in there for sale - blue/black and silver with gilles rearsets and no rear pegs?

they bought mine of me a few days ago.

Just picked her up.

Boy, what a difference from CBR600 to Fireblade.

SP put a set of new Metzeler tyres on it for the MOT, so have to take it easy for a while.

Good job too, Me and Nick just passed a police speed trap on the way home.
