WOW WHAT A SUMMER RIDE OUT

Post by speedy(delboy) »

Brill day,

53 Bikes (shame the rest didnt come)

5 Groups, all leaving haldon at 15 mins intervals, they all go and I am last man, get on my bike only to find a bloody flat tyre

Thanks to everyone that turned up and hope your day was as good as mine, mind you nailing it from haldon to minehead on a near flat was fun (NOT)

Thanks to all the leaders and tail End Charlies for doing their best to keep their groups together

And anyone in Jon B's group, I appologise for nailing it passed you after Blackmoor Gate, but it was the only way I could get in front to get you back on the right road :D :D

Loads of photo's to follow in a few hours after a much needed nap.

What amazing roads, now only 5mm from the edge of the tyres now. I did not get lost at the roundabout that I went round four times, I was trying to get my knee down  fantastic day well done for the third time Phil.

Yeah a great day out!

Sorry to all of my group for being a sucky leader! It was mostly my fault, especcially the mix up in Exeter!

Was good fun. You didnt do to bad Jon, after the Exeter mixup it was very well paced.

The ride back was by far the best of the day, fast roads and everyone kept close (except Bimbo, is he home yet? :) ) Me and Kelly carried on from Credition to Bickleigh too.
