shit! I know that road well, take a spin that way most weekends. From the picture shown on the news report, can well believe he could go off the road and not be seen.

Have just been for a rideout that way. spot marked with a bunch of flowers. I rode past that spot twice last week, so chances are body was there then. May sound daft, but to me seems a bit of a strange place to go off road! Can see how he was missed though, trees and bushes all along roadside. smallest gap where he's gone through.

when he was riding a motorbike through a series of bends on the A3075. ............No other vehicle is thought to be involved in the incident.
The road is well-known and popular with motorcyclists, and there have been a number of serious accidents in the area involving riders.
i hate the media

My thoughts go out to the family on this one, It was only tonight i realised which corner this happened on. To say it made me angry would be an understatement. 6 years ago I was leading a guy who was having a go on my first Ducati 748. As i went past the pub just after that corner it became apparent the red thing in the mirror had dissapeared. I turned back and eventually found my Dad's friend un-concious hidden down through the tree's with a 748 on top of him. The only reason somebody else stopped was i had abandoned the bike i was on in the middle of the road!!! Something was just waiting to happen there, dad's friend lived (just) but we often said what would have happened if i'd not been with him?
Let's hope that this terrible accident will make the Council/police? do something about it. As a biker i dread walls and crash barriers as much as the next but in this instance it could have saved a life?
Ride safe everyone else and look out for each other.
