94 in a 50......

I got caught a few years back doing 101.3 in a 70 and got 6 points and a big fine !

Normaly over 100 is a ban but as ed was doing 44 mph over the limit I think a ban of 1 month is the reality !

Are they able to make the court aware of similar/past/pending offence's if so better pack a case of vaseline in you overnight bag

its the 133 id be more worried about....

I got a 1 year ban and a £450 fine when I was 19 for 75 odd in a 30...but then I had 11 points beforehand ( yes im pretty sure that I recall them bringing my driving record up) and I was to arrogant in court for my own good.

depends how you present yourself in court id say....6 months 3 if your really lucky.

I dont think you will get a ban for the 94mph in a 50, depends on previous offences. Rule of thumb is usually double the limit is a ban. I recon £500 fine.

As for the 133mph, I guess at a 6-12 month ban and £800 fine.

I'm assuming that you are going to grovel a bit.

Yeah, like when it was said before; just present yourself in a clean and professional manner - they'll judge you the moment you come into view so don't prove them right when they're making up their mind based on the offense!

And just nod alot, and ask questions about how you can improve and what to do to be safer, and make it seem like you now suddenly realise how wrong you were, seriously; it's so so important to look like you're taking it all in, and seem the sort to heed their warning by not doing it again.

Anyway, it's wierd because by law, they can't send you a Notification of Intended Prosecution without a caution first, meaning that if you bring this to their attention before the case then legally they're not allowed to use your offense and the photo as evidence, they can say "You were speeding" and you can say "How do you know?", they'd be f*cked - you just need to write a decent letter.
