Well Josh and I (my 4 year old boy) gave my old engine an autopsy yesturday to see why she went last year and one of the big end bearings slipped under its opposing bearing, wrecking the conrod and scrapping the crank

The bearings were as flat as a fag papper

Oh well at least Josh had fun ;)

You could get the crank built up and reground.

when I was in cornwall living we used to send cranks to Ray brown in stonehouse Plymouth.

You could resell it then Ash

It'll probably cost me the price of a second hand engine to rebuild mine with the crank re built, so i don't think its worth it really, I'm keeping some bits for spare JIC
