Just think though, to make it "As good as new" again he'll need new mirrors, indies, and if it's missing bungs then possibly bodywork too!
I've learnt that a general rule of thumb is...

DUCATI PARTS = $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!

Therefore, to conclude, he's going to have to fork out unless he minds a few small scratches - on a brand new bike!
