not impressed wiht the guys up there. mate of mine took his bike up cus his exhasut was blowing. they said yeh no problem 30 squid come back on friday. went up today. sorted the bike out a treat wasnt bloing and all was well. on 2 previous occasions my frien had taking his bike up there and both times they had managed to put 2 large dents in his end can.after arriving at jaspers checked his end can for dents as a joke, and discovered that there was a 3rd dent in his end can. so he phone him up and poped back up. wen confronted by paul he started to shout and saying my mate was taking the piss and that he had dented it himself. he then shouted and swore and said he didnt want to see his bike up their again. this end can was £280 Blue Flame Evo can. he was really upset and annoyed that he was treted in such a manor. i have personaly had trouble in there aswell. being messed around, bad work. so make ur opwn minds up. but my advice is to stay well clear.
thanks
Baskie

looked to be very cramped for space when I was there yesterday, but can't comment on the quality of their work as they couldn't help me

Baskie, perhaps your mate should write them a letter and take a picture of the dent. You might be elligible for some compensation.
If they don't cooperate, tell them you're contacting trading standards. They have a list of companies that don't play ball and if others have complained about the same place as well, trading standards will ask questions of their marketing ethics. They'll even advise as to what laws protect you and your right to compensation.
Good luck mate. People shouldn't get away with things like that, especially arguing with customers - not very professional. Throw the book at them!

All work should be carried out with 'care and skill' if there is a dent that is not care. If your insurance has a legal department call them for free advice, or whichever recovery service you're with. I know the RAC gives free legal advice to it's members.
