don't know if any of you remember kelly (dynasangel) and her rapid nc23, i konw she only got rid of it in the summer, and alot of you are old :lol:

well if u do u will remember how clean, lubricated and spoilt it was what with both gav and kelly looking after it.

UNFORTUNATELY, ITS ALL GONE TO RATSHIT

kim and i were down at jaspers today when i spotted it festering near a rather spanking vfr 400, the guy who bought it and his friends saw me taking pics of it and started to get cocky but never came over to enquire as to why i was laughing to myself.

think when kelly sees these pics ZERO (yes i do remember you) is gonna get his ass kicked all along the Hoe.

That's quite unfortunate. I know Kelly and Gav looked after that really well.

Such is life. My moped got wrote off within a week of me selling it.

The money was handed over, all parties were happy, who cares what he does with it :?

I've had bikes that were my pride and joy trashed after sale, others that were treated better than I ever did ..... at the end of the day, once it's gone - it's gone .... :D

I'd be p*ssed off if any of my bikes previous owners came up to me and had a go because of what I'd done to it - it's my bike, my choice :? :roll:



That said, like anything it's sad to see something good trashed purely through lack of care, but at 18 - 20 (as i'm guessing Zero is ....) polishing my bike was very low down my list of priorities :oops:
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away

well thats the perks of winter riding, day in day out.
The bike is sold.............
so the NEW owner can do what they want with it IMO :!:

who cares if its dirty..........it's their bike at the end of the day :!:

Hey, I'm a little bit older than that and cleaning my bike is absolute bottom of my priorities... :shock:

Put in petrol and as long as it goes.... I'm happy... :P

lol. i sold my bike. was pukka. duded binned it twice, and now its a shit state. still makes me sad that someone can abbuse it. :( it was a mean machine. yeh mo dont look after it. lol. he will in the summer honest. i will make him wash it every day.

But like everyone has said, its winter it cant be helped!
Well it can, but going outside in the cold cleaning your bike aint fun!

I love 400's :evil: I pity the fool. All I did was clean my bike when I bought it. In fact I cleaned it more than I rode it.

But Moose is right. Once its gone its no longer your problem. However, this chap who now owns it has just been nationally humiliated! :lol: :lol:

I have to agree with Simon that, the bike is a state now (doesn't it make a person feel better knowing their bike is in better condition). But I know I can't really make comments as my bike isn't even working at the moment!

I will say that any bike I had would probably look like that too without the knowledge, but thankfully my knowledge on how to maintain a bike has increased (and is still increasing) thanks to a key number of people (they know who they are) and so i hope no bike I ever own in the future will get into a state.

I believe it's not so much a lack of maintainence that causes a bike to get into a shoddy condition, but the lack of knowledge on HOW to maintain a bike (therefore causing the lack of maintainence), and sadly this only really comes with experience.

Just my personal opinion.
