Anyway these pics are of my front brake, and the discy thing on the wheel and the bike of course. The garage told me the pads where worn right down, I don't know if the picture is clear enough but to me they look alright

. Also there is no pressure when I pull the right brake lever (I think that is the front brake right?) I know there is very little liquid in that little box to the left of the right brake lever, but what I want to know is...do I need to fill the little boxy thing up, do I need to buy some more brake pads and do I need the bleed the brakes? if not what else could be wrong?

theres no fluid in the resevoir because the pistons are as far out as they will go becuase theres no friction material left on your pads. change the pads asap.
what bikes it for? you should be able to pick up a pair of pads from ebay for a tenner. you may need to bleed the brakes after you have changed the pads though. do you have a haynes manual?

I think so somewhere, but I can't find any the size I want on Ebay (170mm disc)

. If I get taylors to order some will they charge me more?

right, tried to do your images but failed, I cant edit my posts for some reason, anyway.
is the bike rideable, do you recon you could get it to west chinnock without permanaently killing yourself?, if Taylors have told you the brake pads are worn they probably are, but thats not to say there's no life left in them, I've had dealers wanting to change brake pads that are perfectly serviceable but possibly with high milage wouldn't have lasted till the next service.
to be on the safe side, get some new pads and a bottle of brake fluid, if you want help fitting them give me a shout and we'll sort something out.

Great, I would have no idea what to do with the brakes if I got them. The bike is rideable...kinda. Taylors said the brakes were worn down to the metal, if I manage to find some brakes I might just give you a PM thanks.

if Taylors told you they're down to the metal then you need new ones, saying they're that far gone is different to
'they're worn and wont last another year.'
PM me when you've got some pads and DOT4 and we'll get something sorted.

Mike Daytona600, would you mind next time you go to work to see how much the 170mm disk brake pads are? If you don't sell them I think I will have to phone up Taylors and give who ever the unlucky chap is to pick up the phone the job to phone peugeot and order some for me.

It would be better if you give them a ring cos they need to know what model/age bike it is. If it's ludix pads we should have some as we stock most sizes by EBC.
