but why does the front view wobble
also what are you using as a recording device
i have a bullet cam and use a cannon camcorder but could do with something smaller than a camcorder

The front view is a ATC-2000 all in one bullet cam. It always wobbles, shame.
The rear facing camera is my own bullet cam setup which consists of a 480line Sony Bullet cam (£70 inc battery pack, mic and all cables) and a recorder which records to SD card (You can get them for around £70 or so, any device which has AV-In will work) It's not perfect but does the job.

my cannon has AV in but was wondering if there was anything smaller

Just a bit bigger than the average mobile phone. Infact on the trackday pretty much everyone said 'Is that a mobile phone?'

Seems stunning for the price, spoke to a guy who was selling it in a bundle with a bullet cam and he said it recorded perfectly except for a slight jumping when coming down from heavy wheelies!
