As some of you know i have recently moved house. Finally got around to changing addys for all the 100 different companies that your personaly life is involved with anyway just informed bike insurance and they want an extra £28.

Told them car insurance has gone down £20 cause of the move and its still in a EX4 area as before and plus i am now living in a more upper class area but still they want an extra £28.

"But why?"

"Sorry we don't know why"

They would bleedin take the drippings from my nose if they could.

Its things like this that make people do silly things to make a claim.

Insurance companies are the devil, last week took £400 quid out of my account putting me in my over draft without my authorisation. I phoned them, they said absolutely nothing they could do. Phoned my bank, then phoned insurance company back and threatened them with legal proceedings due to fraudulent use of my bank details "oh yes Sir, immediately Sir" total [Censored].

What got me, with my insurance company, was, and get this.

When I added Sarah as a non driver on a provisional, they gave me a refund, HTH do they work that out :?: :?: :?:

Yet if I want to add sam now, they want stupid money and she HAS a licience.

It's nearly always cheaper to insure you + spouse. For a few years I kept my ex-husband on my insurance as it knocked the price down. In their eyes I guess married = sensible, responsible, etc.

Worst one was when I worked for a record company - at the start of my contract they warned me to say I worked for a sales/marketing agency as insurance companies automatically assume you'll be carrying the highest grossing artist in your car or as pillion and they don't want to pay millions for a broken finger. I tried a couple of quotes - being honest added almost £2k
