At last I have a new bike. picked up an k2 GSXR 1000 today (no I'm not changing my name). so hope to see people out and about soon.
Bit peed off that I paid over £1k to insure it though with a £850 excess :(
only paid £3,300 for the bike. the got to pay a 1/3 agian to insure it. and for some strange reason it would have been more if I had not added my brother (who past his test about a week ago) as a named rider. that dropped it by £100. I don't understand insurance companys.

as long as you tell the about the mods done dave they wont refuse to pay out but they wont cover the cost of replacing the upgraded options
