DAS Done

Post by adelbertz »

Hello,

Done my DAS test today, passed with 3 minors (I know what I did wrong  ) but am really happy so thought I'd share the news.

Looking forward to move onto something with a bit of oomph for the Dual Carriageway and Motorway.

if i am not mistaken that's a G-model zx6r in the best colour just like one my brother had. :D :D :D
i had an f3 and a j1 model zx6 in the past and they were both good bikes until i bent the f3.......but that's another story

i do sometimes miss the j1 cos it was comfy as hell and went well and u could still walk properly after riding it all day

if u need a hand on weds let me know cos i'm free (not in a kinda funky way)

I'm pretty sure that's a G2 cos the top of the tank is coloured whereas the top of a G1 tank is black.

I had a red G2, until it got inbeded in the side of a jeep   , and I loved it to bits. So much so I went to my wedding on mine 8) . Before anyone asks yes I did wear leathers and got changed in the church. They're comfey for rider and pillion, go like fook, handle nice and sound sooooooo sweet with the induction roar 8)

Still got the original can so if you need one I'm sure we can come to an arrangement

Oh and if you need a tax disc holder check these out viewtopic.php?f=24&t=82939

Well done on the DAS :D

Well done mate. Chiddy did tell me this evening when i got back to the depot.

Thought it was a brave bold move buying the bike a week before your test. A bit of tempting fate but hey you did it and well done that man. Hopefully see you sunday

Well done you! bet you're well chuffed :D Great choice of first bike (mine was a KLR650) I've now got a ZX6, you're gonna love it! they're fairly comfy, and keep it under 5000rpm and it's quite civilized  but after that it just wants to leave you behind  Hope you can make the friendly rideout on Sunday 9th. Cheers. 8)

I think it's a G2 Model like Mike said (T reg 1999).

"Well Chuffed" puts it lightly, I am itching for tomorrow to come around  . It's having a new rear tyre for the MOT (what's causing the holdup) so I'll be extra careful first few rides! . When MOT is done I can sort out Tax and ride like hell. 8)

Thanks for the offers of help too guys, I think Chiddy is come with me and pick it up. 8)

Take care,

Andrew
