Was out last night and didnt catch the motogp qualifying, logged ont motogp.com to check and...oh my god toseland 2nd on the grid no way!!!! cracking the bloke is a star isnt he!! Bradley smith is on pole too!!!!

Looks like it could be a good season stoner 4th, rossi 7th, after all the critisms it has taken after last season and the timings out of season.
Bet rossi stayed with michelins now just hope they hold out for the full race

to early to say if hes made the right choice.
main thing is the yamahas have improved and michelins have always worked better in colder temperatures and this qatar race is a good leveller
the placings are a touch false as stoner was seriously blocked on his last qualifier and im sure he would have pushed the yamahas further down the order
will make for a good race tonight though

Yeh it's fuuny how he's 'insisted' on Bridgestones and is doing worse than the other 3 Yams

wait till jerez next time in warmer temps buts its good to see the yamahas flying as the others are way off,whats happened to all the other factories. i fear stoner will run away with tonight

no but look at wsbk's with the bad starts made by biaggi and haga,you need to start well especially with stoner being so strong

Lets hope its not the adverse weather conditions helping Toseland, sorta like wet weather. Seems a little strange that he's on last years bike which wasn't as good as the others imo.

See how things pan out I guess...you never know.

Well done for Toseland, great result for him. Hopefully he'll be further up the field when he gets Yamaha's pnuematic valve engine.

Yep, nice the Brits put in a good performance, early days so roll on the next round - glad the wife agreed to SKY finally get to overdose on BIKE RACING!!!
