Weather's going to be fine and roads dry so how about this...

Start Captain Jaspers at 9am then:

TORPOINT FERRY - TORPOINT - TRERULEFOOT ROUNDABOUT - BODMIN - POLZEATH (lunch) - DAVIDSTOW (via coast road) - LAUNCESTON - CALLINGTON - PLYMOUTH

Back for late afternoon. Can be quick or take it easy. Can alter route to be shorter if necessary. I'm not stuck on any plan apart from making sure I get out. Be good to avoid the moor though because with Ten Tors on there are going to be cars, people and the 'services' everywhere.

I'll probably go even if it's just me, to be honest! Arron showed a sniff of interest when I messaged him and anyone else welcome, really.

Would love to join you at Polzeath but I'm competing in a Road-Trial on Sunday. Davidstow - Plymouth bit will be fun (usually return this way from JD Racing).

Would do it definitely, but no fuel money and working till 6am . Can do 16th probably though!

Shame you can't make it though mate. I'm sure we left a couple of people back there about 20 miles. Can you just pop back and have a look?

id be tempted to join in at polzeath as i have to travel to plymouth to see dad for his birthday, depends what time youd get to that stop and if the gf wants to come in the cage...

I'm guessing we'll be farting around at Jaspers until about 9.20. Then getting that ferry and up to Trurulefoot will probably take another hour or so (although Arron will be trying to make the ferry go quicker, no doubt) then Bdomin will take us up to about 11am. Polzeath by about 11.30 I should think.

Hour for lunch, ice-creams and explaining to Rob Harris why bikes don't have to pay in car parks takes us to 12.30 leave Polzeath ish... I reckon back to Plymouth by about 2.30 latest. Would be simple for Exeter folks to split off earlier and head off home.

so what date is this again as i might be able to make the 16th
