What can is it? measure the outlet, normally the cans are 52mm and if so most DB Killers will fit.

Everyone makes them differently, Scorpion do one of the quieter ones I've seen because they cut the outlet down to 1inch from 2 inches and also block off the end with mesh. Most other DB killers just cut down to 1inch but straight through.

The cheap ones from Ebay which have all the bent metal sticking in are rubbish apparently. Like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTORCYCLE-MOTORB ... .m14.l1318

We bought from this guy:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DB-KILLER-BAFFLE_ ... .m14.l1318 mainly because Kellys Akra had a 47mm outlet so normal DB Killers wouldnt fit. It fitted well and knocks the sound down a little.

If you just wanna knock a few DB of the sound then get one above but if you are planning to do super quiet trackdays best try for a quieter baffle.

Most manufacturers now make one up that is bespoke to their cans.

Wheres SIDEKICK to ?? Oh and bikes off the road again now at mo. Steve wasn't too impressed with me using long life (or life time guarantee ) fork seals as they are soooo tight they stop the forks from rebounding

I knew something wasn't right

Yeah Steve has the forks as we speak. I wipped them off quickly on friday and dropped them in after he diagnossed the problem. He knew exactly what i fitted before i said anything. Thought it would be better for him to do them and change the oil from a 10 i put in to a 7.5 he recommends. This way it saves me paying for a couple hours labour and i know its done properly. Then it will be back in for the set up. Can't wait

Saw Ian today and tried to get him to come to Donny but the noise is going to be a prob he said. Yeah yeah i said more like scared

How bleedin hard is it to find a DB killer that will fit. The prob i got is i am running an FMF can which as most of you know are from the Moto x world and started experimenting with sports bikes.

The end spout is about 50mm which i heard is normal but most of the ones i have seen are angled at the end as to fit most side mounted cans. Mine is a under seat can and so the spout is near enough straight out.

Looks like i will have to bite the bullet and buy one of those cheap ones Gav said was cr*p. Only a tenner and he says he has used one at Donny on a quiet day. Plus the thing is straight

I bleedin find any sites that really sell them

Blimey ive got one of those cheapo ones from ebay and ive found it works rather well if you wrap it in baffle packing before you put it in. But it is most probably more restrictive than a decent one.

give paul a bell down at sidekick and explain what you want or find a different branded can that has the same diameter and buy the baffle for that one

Thanks for the tip deej but derek at CMS let me try one out of the shop and it fits sort of ok.

Fitted it today and has quieted it down some and lost lots of horses. It hardly lifts the front under hard acceleration in 1st now
