Free with this weeks MCN is a little 'best coastal roads' booklet and for the SW the A39 minehead-ilfracombe was mentioned (damn straight ).

As i read a little further i came across this:

"...Then its inland through exmoor for a spell before you head back towards the sea on the a399 towards ilfracombe-the jewel of the north devon coast."



Well ive heard it called a lot of things (namely s**thole),but that takes the biscuit.

Oh and apparently Ilfracombe is also "a surfing hotspot"....im guessing they must be referring to pissed-up chavs car surfing at 3am.

yep MCN is full of crap most weeks especially some of there new bike scoops

Have to admit I get it quite often ( and MCN ha ha ) but tend to read the back pages first then scan through the sensationalist front pages and read the interesting bits.

MCN.......about as exciting as watching Top Gear!

I normally buy mcn cos its weekly and its cheap,despite the scaremongering articles about everyone hating bikers that appear in every issue

And whats the deal with everyone trying to blag speeding offences?If youre silly enough to go ragging it past a speed camera then you deserve a fine
