Hey guys, I'm new 2 the world of two wheels and i love it so far. I'v bought an Rieju RS2 NKD, great bike, but I want to get rid of my patronising great big L plates! I'v done the CBT obviously, what do I need to do next to make them dissapear? I'm 17 in September, I'v got to wait till then haven't I? Is it just the theory test I've gotta do or the full thing? Laugh at me if you want. :) Cheers, Tom.

Get your theory done, and then your A2 test. Job done, but you are technically then restricted to 33bhp for two years

nah u have to book theory online at http://www.dsa.gov.uk apparently you can do it at 16 by doing a moped theory. Or even infact if you really don't want l plates you could do a moped test.

Yea you can do your theory test at 16, I did.
Once you pass your theory test, you can book your training and test, thats if you want to do training, but it definatly recomended.
I would recomend doing your theory asap, and booking your test as the test is changing in october and getting harder and more expensive, so you can just get in there if you book early.

When you do finally pass, don't ride past the test center standing on your pegs fists clenched shaking in the air moto GP style, it's frowned upon  . Allegedly :D
