Tonight, I got the blue lights behind me.. turns out me and my mates had been followed and filmed for over 2 miles without realising. In that time we'd been caught no hands..tinted visors.. small reg plates.. cut down L plates..racing cans..speeding etc. so..cop gets out the car.. talks to us.. warns all about how we shouldnt have the things we have on our bikes...tells me not to waste my money on replacing my small reg plate with a legal one as it's not too small to read and then invites us into his car and watches the video of us ....laughing and pointing out all the small things we did wrong!! Is it me or was he either the soundest cop ...or just clueless? hahaha anyway..the film was kool..exactly as it is on 'road wars' etc :D

Sounds like he was a damn good cop to be honest mate, you could have got into a lot of trouble. Don't think you've got away with it now though as your number will be marked mate.

Might be worth looking into your mirrors occasionally....

Take it as a warning get your plate sorted it just attracts attention, he very likely was more concerned with your safety than nicking you, the next one may not be so lenient, noisy exhausts attract the old bill like flies to a dung heap

I assume it was a marked police car. Thats embrassing having him follow you for so long and you didn't notice.

Best make sure you learn to look backwards before you get a bigger bike, the unmarked ones are harder to spot

Learn the lesson, you may think it was funny now, but next time he will be a complete B'stard and guess who will have a bigger smile as he writes out the tickets.

What time of the day/night was it? If it was near the end of his shift he probably couldn't be bothered with the paperwork & wanted to get home.

LOL Constable glitter obviously thought you were to old otherwise would have made you beg him not to give you a ticket

I got pulled by a nice cop once.
Scottish bloke. It was a special occasion and my girlfriend REALLY wanted a ride. So I thought okay, slap the L plates off, helmet on her, nobody will know! From Exeter out to Exeter Tescos and back.
On the way back a cop pulled me over, blues and twos in my mirrors. I thought... f**k, I'm gonna loose my license now, this was stupid!
Cop comes up says, your tail lights out, and its getting dark, points out how dangerous it is and I agree. He checks my bike's reg plate, checks it is mine and insured in my name, checks the tax disc, asks if I have my license, which I didn't bring with me (just in case ) and then I braced myself for the whole you have 7 days to produce it speech.
He just says well I won't keep you and lets me go! I was like... JESUS CHRIST!! How lucky can you get. I won't be making any stupid mistakes like that again, test next week, L plates off hopefully (second attempt) then she can go on as much as she wants. But for now no, stay off! Haha
I thank that cop for being lazy and not doing the paperwork, or being a nice man!
Also side note, later on I pulled up at some lights and a guy in a Jeep came up and let me know about the tail light, I thanked him but sad I was on my home to replace it now.

haha! thats well good. more lucky than ours! haha i'd never take any1 on the back for a start i dunno how to and i WOULD get pulled coz thts my luck. haha im doing my theory tomorow an test next week alos. cant wait to get rid of my plates and get on a gixxer :D:D
