Fancy A Bristol Meet?

Not really attended one before so It would be great to start one close to home, mainly as I'm useless at directions.
Dose it take much organisation? or is it just a case of a quiet location and getting people to show-up?
I have a bit of a personal motive though.
I'm working on a photobook for my current photography project and I'm looking to produce a photojournalistic series on motorcycling.
(the culture/the bikes/the people)
If anyone is interested in getting a meet going hopefully we can sort something out.
P.S.
If anyone is interested in just helping me out with a few photos also PM me please.

I'm in Bristol too, would be up for meeting sometime, I work shifts that include Saturday evenings but If i'm free i'll come along.
I would of thought that as it's only a short bimble up the road for Smiler and hubby they could probably be talked into it too!

I can make the 15th, and again don't mind where we meet.
Where are you all coming from going back to? I'm in Stoke Gifford, but like i said don't mind where we go.
I'll add a disclaimer (so to speak) now, I work in retail and we trade till 9pm on Saturday's and it is possible that i get called into work at short notice if someone doesn't turn in, we get people pulling sickies on Saturday nights so they can in party! so i may have to cancel at short notice.

Sorry to hear that, but it would be great to get something regular going so hopefully you both can make another soon!
Are we talking a old-skol car park meet or somewhere with warmth.
If you fancy the first, selfishly I know a big, well light one near me (great for photos

) You get the occasional boy-racer but they keep to their end. There is a food van just over the road too!
If you fancy this spot though, it may have to be a tad on the late side.
I'll link some photo's from a shoot I did there last night of my firends Golf, you can get a little idea of the location then.

I think most poeple (myseld included) prefer to just meet in a pub, go sit down, and have a coke. Nice bit of banter, some meet and greet, a chat about teh forums...maybe some food in there somewhere, some more banter, then head off home, not tooo late !!
I thin you might have teh wrong idea about a meet - i dont think people wanna meet in a car park to take photos...just sounds a bit dodgey

Was just hope'n to get a few shots for my college project, but I'm not to worried about that.
As I said, you get a few small groups of cars meeting there and after I did a shoot there yesterday I just carried the concept across really.
Is there anywhere someone could recommend?
