Well, i hadn't realised (kind of suggests the relevance/importance of it ) that I'm not a member any more ....... I have no proof of when i last paid, who to, or how much, though in the 3 years I had been a member I never received a membership card or stickers (not that that bothers me).

In that time, I have never had a reminder to pay but am somewhat p*ssed at just being "cut-off" without any warning ..... especially as the proposed changes aren't supposed to be brought into effect until March '09.

If the proposed changes/membership fees/structure won't be known until then, why are "privileges" being withdrawn now and why should/would people pay (now) until they know what they'll be getting then

I know for sure my membership still has a good 4 months or so to run and I can't get in either.
I just put it down to the maintanance and thought nothing of it.

i would suggest being able to access the members area is a fair indication of being seen as a member. I can't get in ....

there again, not sure it matters as there doesn't seem to be much traffic there anyway ......

I was so Pm'd speedy as there was a problem. Mine's all sorted now.

Got to say, I'm a bit annoyed at it just suddenly happening, would have thought lessons would have been learnt from last time.

Though I do realise that I haven't been a paid up member for nearly 2 years now

However as moose said, the changes not being til march and some sort of warning would have been nice. I haven't said anything about the changes because i'm fine with it all and will go along with whatever but this just suddenly happening has annoyed me.

Thats what happens when the owner doesn't have time for his own site. And there is no point dedicating time if hardly anyone uses it, if I was dave, I would seriously consider shutting it down.

Out of all the sites I have used, only 1 has been worth paying for...and I even donated £200 to the italiansportsbikeclub.com

This site isn't worth joining even if the membership was free.

Yet, despite being so rubbish, like the prodigal son you keep coming back despite being banned etc. .......

I can't get in either but to be honest there was very little extra to be gained from actually being a member. You got to read one or two pointless threads.

Why dont you all just give us a chance to get a few things sorted, before moaning, or PM me if there was a problem like 3 people already have.

Again I seem to be the only one working on the admin side of things.

You're right I could have PM'd you, but didn't. mainly because (as I said) access to a couple of threads doesn't bother me that much.

the thread was intended to serve two purposes - to advise people who beleived themselves members that they may not be, and to make the point that the whole furore that has been created in other posts is supposed to be about what might happen in March, yet some things seem to have been implemented more immediately.
