Seems expensive to me ....... with track-bikes for sale from £3-500, why would you pay £300 just for a day .....but then I'm a cheap-skate

what zxr  was actually thinking of the zx7r instead so its a bit more modern and wont put people off. £100 from okemoto is quite cheap when you take into account the costs of tyres as you cant let people out on worn tyres and we all know tyres aint cheap not even part worns 8) as you'll only get 3 days out of a set of PW's

do you know what chris includes in his price/package

£300 does seem steep but i guess what you got to take into account is if your letting out a £3000 trackbike for a £100 a day its going to take 30 trackdays to pay for its self.

Firstly if it gets written off before these 30 your on a lose and plus you need to pay the up keep, servicing and tyres, so i am amazed someone would only charge £100 unless they have bought a bulk load of written off bikes.

I would consider hiring for a £100 a day deffo it will cost you that in tyres anyway on your own bike

Not sure how much they charge but at Pembrey you get bike, tyre warmers, fuel and the use of a mechanic all day in the price

you should try riding harder then and what happened with the puncture last year then :x :x

for the pembrey deal i reckon you'd be looking at £300 or near abouts for that service, the bikes delivered and maintained there n then plus youve got a days wages and tyre/fuel costs. it sounds a lot but not when you take into account the costs involved for the owner

I’m sure the bloke from okemoto a said that tyre wear wasn’t included. But I could be wrong there as my brain was frozen  and was expecting snow for the trip home  .

I spoke to the guy at uk track bikes (pembrey) last year. The cost was £250 all in tyres, fuel , help with set up and advise. etc. there was no crash excess, but if you binned it, that signalled the end of your day. That could be the slightest of slide at the hairpin during the first session or a big one at the kink during the last. :D

Linny (AT) had a thread up somewhere, that a guy will hire track bikes out for £180 each, but he has to hire both the bikes out at the same venue to make his money.

so for £360 you would get, 2 bikes, mech for the day, fuel and delivery to the track etc etc, which is great value.

Must find this link as a lot of peeps are asking about this topic.
