one persons ideal bike is anothers dog, i am afraid the best thing you can do is go take these bikes for a ride and come to a conclusion of your own, last thing anyone would want is to tel you about a bike, u buy it and then find it uncomfortable or not able to do what you want.

there is no short cut and if you are to be spending the amount of cash you are talking about you really wanna get the right choice for you

If it's position and comfort you require and not top speed and power then why are you going for a sport bike. I would suggest you go and see some dealers and try some bikes, they will only be happy to help with the kind of cash your spending

If you want comfort and am not worried about speed etc, dont go for a sports bike. Though I know its a head and heart decision. Many of the 600's give similar mpg and will do 100-120 until the reserve light comes on.

I love my gsxr k4

i just dont like the riding position of sv650 or naked bikes, i like look and feel of sportbikes, and by that " i dont care about top speed etc" i mean for me bike that is going 163mph max or 145max is the same or acceleration all the 600cc are quick enough so thats why im thinking more about road friendly use as everywhere is written that some of them are really difficult to ride

but as you guys have lot of experience you know wich bike is really crazy on the road i know that it depend on how you ride but there has to be some bikes that are easier and more dificult to ride form 600cc ss. So if i will go to some dealer and tell him i want to try some bikes, will they be alright with it? I have to buy it if i crash dont I?

depends on the shop, most will make u sign a form for insurance.

most super sports will 'go crazy' if u wind the throttle open, if u are worried about getting thrown off the back and loosing control, get a sports tourer or restrict the super sport.

how tall are u ? no point in asking a shorty what bike is good and vice versa
how heavy are u ? no point in asking a fatty what bike is good and vice versa

All the bikes on your list are as good and reliable as you can get. As fast as you like, economical if ridden gently, but sports 600‘s aren’t built for comfort. . Get the one you like the look of best. that’s what I did!!!!!!! 8) :D

I think you might be making your choice too difficult for yourself. The only bike that will be right is the one that feels right when your sat on it. :?

Go to some dealers, Ignore there sales "sign here" talk and sit on all the bike you like. Test ride them if you can, just go careful with the throttle. You can change so much on bikes these days if its not quite right in one aspect but is in all the others its not a major problem. :D

Go, play, enjoy :D

Put all the names of the bikes you like in a hat, pick one out and buy it. If you don't get on with it, sell it and try the next one. I 'Test rode' my 2003 636 on the way home! kept it a year! You will get used to the power of any bike if you take it steady to start with. 8)

Im looking for a smooth power delivery ( as possible not to have all power in one point) [ i know nearly all the power is in highest revs]. I thinking about 2003 or 2004 r6, or 2004 gsxr 600. I liked before cbr600rr but in all reviews is written they are not very road ride friednly all power in one point etc etc that is why im asking you guys because you got experience and if i read the review in magazines everybody says different things, so what do you think about 2003/04 r6 and gsxr600 K4?
