Got home this evening to find a NIP waiting for me...

Dunno if anyone saw the post I made last week asking if you were the biker I warned about the scamera van on Topsham Rd... ?

Well it was him got me... Then... I slowed down too ...

39 mph in a 30 zone...

Now I understood from previous posts on here in the past that bike couldn't accurately get measured by a 'Manned Camera' ...

I've also been told that if I call them they will offer me a speed awareness course at the price of the fine £60 but I don't get the 3 points... ?

Thats a pain, I know in MCN they quote a biker friendly solicitor who often helps with advice on getting these things overturned if possible. Don't know the name but their forums might have advice or a contact name/ address?

I think the defence had something to do with the signal being too prone to bouncing off of other things such as passing buses , bus stops, sign posts etc and not recording the true speed of the biker.

Yup, went through twice last week (at the right speed) My camera detector reminds me it could be there.

Has paid for itself umpteen times over. Must get one for the bike as well.

If you were speeding,why not just accept your fate and get on with it dude?

I have never questioned a speeding offence, maybe thats why I have been let off 10+ times, when pulled over.

Same ere Nick i went through that camera new it was there but still half asleep then flash flash 41 in a 30 at 04.41am

From what i got told when i did mine was that 37 was the highest speed they will allow the speed choice for which theyll send the information out with the NIP if your eligable.
Im a naughty boy at 17 and already used up my 1 speedchoice oppurtunity

Wouldn't surprise me if people start running with false plates and more cameras are destroyed in protest.

I got caught in Taunton speeding, They gave me the option for this course which i done there were more woman than men But i dont think they do it if you get done in devon/cornwall could be wrong
