Just seen in the MCN the annual report from Bennetts a list of the most dangerous cars to Bikers
1 Ford Focus
2 Ford Fiesta
3 Vauxhall Astra
4 Ford Transit
5 Ford Mondeo
S##t I have a Transit and a Mondeo and one of my daughters has just got rid of her Fiesta. I still think any car is a danger to motorbikes, the standard of car drivers in particular is appalling! Anyone had a run in with any of these vehicles I have had some close shaves with a few Peugeots in particular

when i first done my cbt on my 50, i had a citroen berlingo hit me also had a white van pull out in front of me managed to just clip the side of it and carry on and also a peugeot estate.

Im very suprised Micra's arent on there, they are the bain of my life and I'm never ceased to be amazed at the sheer total incompetence of these muppets, I always leave plenty of room when one is in fornt or behind, on a bike or in my car!

IMO, the fact that people buy these Micras and french cars in general mens their judgment is severely impared in some way, so always give them a wide berth!

They appear to have missed the Volvo, BMW, Mercedes drivers who think they own the damn road. Then all the chavs with their windows blacked out & the stereo so blooming loud they can't even hear thier own brain working.
All the tw*ts on the mobile etc. etc.
Top that off with everything else on more than 2 wheels then you are pretty close to the mark with things dangerous to bikes.

reckon all cars should come with a screen between front ans rear seats - sound proofed glass.

If that was the case my girlfriend would make me sit in the back on every journey just so I couldn't comment on her driving!!

Can I have one of those screens for the car, really need to keep the kids apart, would be nice to separate the kids apart from each other. Maybe cages!!!

Forgot to mention my 18 year old daughter use to have a peugeot so just to educate her I took her on the back of the Z, went up on the dual carriage way came off the slip road and gave it full throtle up to a 100 ( thats KPH if any coppers are looking) then I felt a few punches in the ribs at 120 I ducked down behind the screen. Then her visor flipped up but we had a good laugh after. It worked though she looks out for and moves over for Bikes. Perhaps we could incorporate this into the driving test there would be plenty of us that would volunter
