always like digidashs guess im a big kid liking all the leds lighting up ........anyway was wondering if there was a sort of aftermarket digidashs that are ideal for bikes not necessarily after a direct replacement for my original clocks....perhaps a series of leds that light up when progressively rising up the rev range

If you're more concerned about looking at your pretty LEDs lighting up and all the fancy digital gubbins, tell us where the orthopaedic ward is at your local hospital so we can come and visit after you've ridden into the back of the first vehicle that stops in front of you.... Believe me it'll happen, I have a 12cm scar on my left forearm, and a corresponding bit of surgical steel as a keepsake and reminder to watch where I'm going - I parked an EXUP in the back of an XR2 nineteen years ago because I was distracted by something and took my eyes off the road, bike written off, arm plated and in plaster for 6 weeks, then operated on again 18 months later to remove the plate. Do yourself a favour, don't festoon your bike with fancy distractions or you'll get hurt.

So your clocks are not a distraction at the moment but sticking a load of flashing LED's on your dash will make them a major distraction! Your choice but my advice is forget it!

guess you all are right, better to be less distracted

I use one of these, dont use analogue tacho as its too bloody big

Fairly easy to set up. Piss easy to wire up, pos, neg, signal. On my bandit loom I spliced it in in paralell to the analogue tacho, then had both working at once to set it up

best thing to get if u like L.E.D displays is the box set of KNIGHT RIDER.

digital gear indicators are useful but do us all a favour and just stay on the bike.

theyre ok if your riding the tits off your bike in ever gear as they'll save you from a rebuild,my guess is to save the £70 and spend it on suspension or a trackday

1. Listen to the engine note
2. Only look down if you think you're being followed or passing a camera
3.Count your gears, it's good practice for counting cards at blackjack














4.Just get a digital gear indicator from acumen
