I got a phone call at 3am on wed, my younger brother had sadly passed away that evening.
It turns out he'd basically had a heart attack from an infection (myocarditis),my parents had done cpr til the ambulance came but he died en route to the hospital. He was only 17 and had just finished college too.
Whats so sad is that my younger sister died from exactly the same thing in 2001,albeit peacefully in her sleep. My poor mum and step dad are totally devastated.
Needless to say ill be getting screened soon.Strange thing is it isnt hereditary and the chances of dying from it are something like 1in10,000, so for it to happen twice in the same family is just unbelievable.
Anyway i just wanted to say cheers guys for the rideout on sunday,it really helped just take my mind off it all and actually enjoy myself for a few hours.
RIP little bro X
