Have you thought about a second hand cargo container...pick em up at reasonable prices compared to metal sheds

its not worth the hassle merv, you wouldnt beleive some of the small print that wainhomes have put in on our contracts. ive definately learnt something for the next house i buy
we have to get wainhomes permission to put a shed up in our back garden/end of driveway, theyve had to say yes or no to a sky dish and said yes providing its not on the front of the house, problem is all the other houses on the way into the new estate have their dishes on the front so they can get sky reception.

would never recommned wainhomes to anyone

Most people check all the small print, before committing to purchasing a house

Someplaces like Comptons..

You could get a pre-cast concrete shed, personally.. thats what I would do.

Well, a good solicitor would have studied any contract relating to the property, and any special conditions, and bought any potential issues to your attention.

That's what you pay them for.

Sound like you may have a legitimate complaint to make there

Compton I think have a setup down at Chacewater Garden Centre.. the place I was actually thinking of is in Dobwalls, think they are called Pearces, its there show site.. all sorts, whether your looking for timber, metal or pre-cast concrete... not far from you either. if your on the A38 already.. its just before the turn off towards St Austell if your heading in the Plymouth direction, if you have gone past the traffic lights and Rowes Honda you have gone too far.

Also.. dont worry about the fact you have to ask permission.. did you actually buy the house outright or did you only purchase a certain percentage of the property?

If all.. they are only saying that so people dont think of putting on huge extensions, double driveways, block-built garages etc.. when really.. if you have purchased the whole property and you are no longer tied into Wainhomes you can do what the hell you like really..

Your not too far from me.. if its the case that you are now the owner and not tied into Wainhomes, I can come past and knock up some planning drawings and if you wanted to, submit a planning application to the local authority for a nice big garage to store your bike and all your gear.. :D :D

Thanks mate lol

Cheers lee,a garage will be planned in the future when funds and time allow. They've put the bits in as its a new estate and they want it to look uniformed through it,they forget they've sold 10 houses to the housing association.
Luckily all the riding gear will be kept indoors in one of the store cupboards, the shed will solely be for bike and other bits n bobs

Had forgot all about pearces too, will pop in there tomorrow on my way to yeovil

Cheers

Stately, the solicitor pointed out when we went through it on the day of exchange which was the day she got the contracts through. Unfortunately its something that the developers are insisting on in the deeds now. I'm not allowed a caravan, motorhome or boat parked on my drive incase it upsets the atmosphere of the estate
