Just curious.

How long have you been riding.

*
Note for born agains.

The period of time you did not own a bike does not count.

Playing with motorbikes as a child does not count as on road biking experience.

As you're 21, and the legal age to start riding on road 1s 16, I'll put you down as 5 yrs.

See you just can't help yourself being a c0ck, does it really matter if someone had a few years off because kids came along or finances said otherwise, putting people into categories is unimportant...........

I've never met a born again who's been out of the saddle less than 16-20 yrs.

I don't get it.

I mean I've had all the trapping of domestic life.

Mortgage, kids, being permanantly skint, but I managed to keep riding.

I suppose now, someone's going to come back and say I was an irresponsible parent for riding a bike as my kids were growing up.

if you havent got dirt bike or MX experience stately knock ten years of your riding experiance as its key in knowing how to properly control a bike , and yes it does directly transfer to road riding.

You should also knock a few years off for considering buying a Vfr800 and extolling the virtues of a pan european

23 years, passed my test 20 years ago in all that time I've had only 3 years in total without a bike on the road and I've racked up around 500,000 miles since I first hit the road, the most in a year was when I was a courier and I did 65k one year doing distance work, I've ridden all year round through every weather you can think of.

You first post says how long have you been riding.. So I've been riding since 10 years old.. so thats 11 years.. not 5..

If you post had said, how long have you been riding on the road.. would have put a different answer..

So these are not "proper" bikes then.

Can't wait till the next person who joins, owns one of these.

I shall be sure to bring your comments to the fore

Big deal

When I was couriering I was doing about 35,000 miles a year.

Anyway I didn't ask about mileage.

Perhaps you newbies are using that to compensate for your lack of years riding ?

Hmmmmmm
