You should be ok with most normal travel insurances. Only restrictions are riding anything over 125cc if your licence does not permit it.
If you're using your own bike with full licence etc normal medical benefits will apply. Just check the terms on some budget policies though.

Also make sure you have a current, up to date E111 (think its called European Healthcare card or similar now) and make sure your insurance covers you for abroad. Most companies do automatically now but some still need you to tell them you're going abroad.

This is for the LeMans trip yes??
I was there a few years ago. When you go to the track, make sure you have All paperwork about your bike and insurance as they will ask for it!

MCi Tours do a combined bike & travel deal for £49.95 if your bike is under 10 yrs old, and Europ Assistance are quoting about £35 for the same (personal & breakdown) but I haven't been able to confirm if that price covers bikes .....
RAC was £15 for personal, and £40ish for breakdown, AA £13.00 personal but £53 for breakdown

Interesting ....... I've never been to the MotoGP there before, but in 20+yrs of going to the endurance races we've never been asked

These people
http://www.vehicle-rescue.com/motorcycle.php are quoting £21.75 for European motorcycle breakdown assistance ......
And these people
http://www.nationalbreakdown.com/html/UKandEUcover.html look to be similar ... though looks like they might cost more for bikes over 10yrs old

It was all to do with bike parking and security. You gave all your details when arriving then had to give the exact deatails when leaving. This was 4-5 years ago now.
Also heard they're quite hot on the breathalyser now so if you go out on the sauce the night before, don't over do it !!
