Riding along preston road in yeovil just 10 minutes ago, stop at the traffic lights and see an opportunity to filter.

I got to one car back from the front of the queue and didnt want to try and get all the way to the front.

Then, lights go green, i pull away, and the peugeot isnt very happy about me cutting in front of him.

Next, he's tailgaiting me like anything, and then goes in for the overtake in a stupid place, with cars coming towards us. I'm forced towards the pavement and have to emergency stop to avoid a parked up BMW.

Then to top it all he winds his window up when i stop next to him at the next lights when they change to red.

The thing was, he had a little girl on the passenger seat, so i didnt really want to go causing havoc.

In a situation like that, always take down the registration number and report it to the Police. They may not, and probably won't be able to do anything about it, but they are obliged to investigate any complaint formally made as I found out some time ago. I got a letter from the Police with a complaint made against me two weeks earlier by a another motorist. I had to rack my brains but I eventually remembered a guy I flicked a V at whilst overtaking because his driving was so erratic. I did eventually get an NFA (no further action), letter from the Police but I had to sweat it for two months before it came. In this case, such action might have made that peugeot driver think twice before having a go at another biker.

I've got the Reg number but i dont think its worth involving the police and that really. He was driving like a tos s er, but i dont really fancy any repercussions about it in the future. Yeovil's only a small place!

Report the [idiot]...who's to say he wasn't just visiting someone and he don't live there...if you don't do anything about it what's to say he won't do it again on another rider who might not be as fortunate as you

That's exactly what bully's depend on. Their victims fear of re-percussions. This idiot probably throws his weight around everywhere he goes and no one stands up to him. That's the way bullies work. I'd have reported him, and sod the repercussions. If it had turned into something else then so be it. Never let bully's win.
