We didnt m8 as they made millions in profit last year, Blaming competition laying of a shift from a four shift system down to a three, Last in first out and all that

Awful news mate and really feel for you and all the others out there who are in same position.

We had a union meeting the other day and had to vote on a pay freeze for the rest of 2009 on the condtion no more redundencies for 2009.

It amazed me how many people in that room voted against it and demanded the pay increase. I was so shocked and said arn't any of you just grateful to have a job at the mo. Bleedin greedy b*stards.

Thing is they are not laying people off but sacking people for the sillyest things where 12 months ago you would of just got a slapped wrist.
