Who's been down to see it then ?? RSV4 !!

Post by Blimey »

Firstly appologies if posted already but internet been down for a week

The RSV4 at SP.

Steve and Dave collected it on Monday after taking it for a thrash around Silverstone, and yes kept it sunnyside up up

They had a open evening there tonight till 9 apparently, and road tests start from next week i think it is.

It looks so tiny and the b*llocks

Yup, been there, done that, rev’d the engine - nice bark.

Engine changes timing and revs when you put it in gear – bark is even louder 8)

Nice riding position, can get right over the tank - pegs are a bit hi and far back.

Very light and weight low. Would be easy to change direction.

Not keen on sharp angles on tail and nose

And the exhaust needs changing

Stonking bike thou

Yes Kai did mention that when you start it and let it idle then put it into 1st the engine note changes due to the noise regs. I think thats what he said anyway

My memory is like a siv sometimes but he was mesmorising me about the full repositioning engine and repostioning forks etc.

Lets just see what they keep for the standard version :?

Its amasing how short the tail piece is when you remove the number plate hanger. Your ar*e would deffo get wet from the rear wheel spray

Looks nice and am delighted Aprillia have refrained from their usual 'every colour in the rainbow' colour scheme.

Love this one

Definately smaller then a new blade. Not getting great reviews from what I've read (good but not as good as was expected)

And I still hate that exhaust!!

I saw it this afternoon. its nice but not £15,000 of nice. It has horrible cheap levers and from a quality point of view, parked next to the MV's, you'd have to be Mad/silly rich/or just want one....... to pick the Aprillia.
I understand it is practically WSB spec, but so was the SP1/2 and Honda brought them to market at a reasonable price.
It is R6 size, but taller.

It may be, that you have to drive it....... to warrant the price.

Wanted to love it!

Oh no, I've loved the RSVs from day one, but I just don't like the look of this one :(
