What the subj. said ^^

I'm looking to buy a double bubble.. Some guy has offered me a clear one on a ZXR forum for a tenner (They're £30/£40 new! ). Ideally i was after a tinted one.. this screen he's offered has small internal cracks over the whole screen.. not to obvious though.. would it cover it up if I got some 20% black 80% laquer mixed up at halfrauds and stuck a few coats of that over it? Or will I have to do it to find out?

Have a look at these pics and what he's said on the forum...

Thanks, Tom. :)

by the time youve bought the paint and the time involved it would be just as cheap to wait and get a 2nd hand one on ebay, also allow money for fairing bolts as theyre usually a pain in the arse to remove without rounding the heads off  8) 8) 8) 8)

Ring Skidmarx in Weymouth, they'll do you a screen in whatever style you want, and they're not that expensive. They made one for my ZRX650R which was around £38 including postage, so I wouldn't have thought one for a ZXR400 would be much more expensive. If you get one that's got crazing all over it it will bug you seeing it everyday, and you'll end up replacing it anyway.
