Minimotos..

delvey91, my mate and me bought three minimoto's today for £25 each.. they run well an stuff and are awsome! took em to an industrial estate next to exeter airport and round some lanes and spent the day 'ragging it round'..

Image

we all fell off them. 5 times in total between us. leathers are for pussys!

Image

i'f anyone's got too much time on there hands i strongly advise this. im in alot of pain now and covered in 2 stroke oil, petrol and have been picking the gravel out of my palms but f!ck me it wasnt half fun!

one. thing tho.. the trials bike one leaks petrol out of what looks like an overflow pipe. coming from the side of the carb where it joins to the cyclinder and stuff.. and i mean.. properly leaks.. it'l come out as fast as you fill the tank..

we thought the float in the carb sump might be covered in dirt and not working properly so took that off and got all the crap out.. it seemed ok for a bit but then started leaking again later in the day.. is ther any obvious things it could be?.. Cheers!, Tom. :)

haha knee down is suprisingly hard on em. cos ther so slow and un stable. and he foot rests dig in way before the bike is lent over atall haha.

there's a float in the fuel tank is ther?.. i thought the fuel was only controlled through the float in the carb.. :?

yea there is only a float on the bottom of the carb, i have a motocross style one and also a quad that we rag around my mates field ( bit softer when we come off  ) always have problems with the carb float and i think it is just crap on the float, i usally find if i pick the bike up and bang it on the floor a few times it usually clears it

yer just a float in the carb but the dirt from the tank will obv go into the carb and so on, you do the math lol
