just saw the post re clamping, thought i'd warn any who wants to park in Plymouth city centre. The bit of pavement at the top of town near the round about where all the banks are at the end of royal parade where people have parked their bikes for years is now a no go area. Apparently its always been an area we've not allowed to park but suddenly they've decided to clamp down on it. Turned up there the other day at there was a load of parking wardens dishing out £70 fines to bikers. There's no signs or anything, w&n!%rS!!! went there the other day and saw some more bikes parked there but couldn't see the owners to warn them, so hopefully the word will get round!

Been talk of them clamping down on bikes parking there ever since I was nipper. Sounds like they're actually doing it now. Thing is, unless there are signs the parking fines shouldn't hold up as everyone has always parked there. They'll be picking on cap'n jaspers next.
