Hi Kim I have literally just come back from Cornwall, in a car not on a bike, but we stayed one night at the Coldstreamer in Gulval 2 mins outside of Penzance and it was perfect its above a pub but there is no noise at all the food it fantastic and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful it was truly superb and if you fancy a walk its 10 mins to the Tesco on the outskirts of Penzance so you can grab supplies and an evening walk, o and it was only £50 a night including breakfast which was fab as well!
Also stayed in a B&B in Newquay not as good as the Coldstreamer but did the job small bed with thin "orthopedic mattress" orthopedic my ARSE!! Its simply a B&B no restaurant but a communal area with table and cutlery and plates etc for anyone to use just use it and stuff it in the dishwasher once ur done...
There were also loads of B&B's all down the road towards the town center but seemed too small for website etc so it may be worth just riding down and trying your luck...
Anyway hope that helps

Some camp sites are nice as pie... until you tell them you're coming down on a bike then suddenly you murder small kittens. Honestly, a few years ago we were gonna go camping down in Cornwall for a friends wedding, everything was fine, had a pitch within the group of people going, then I asked about the bike (parking etc) but as soon as I said that we were moved to another field away from everything because apparently bikers are noisy. To cut a long story short, we didnt go.
