I just thought I would introduce myself.My name is Mark and I run the royal oak in ilminster. I have two pubs. one in ilminster and the other in hambridge. the pub in hambridge has camping facilities which would suit any ride out where people wanted to stay over. The royal oak has live music every saturday and we have some very interesting bands on their way that would be right up the street of most hairy bikers. We have several metal nights coming up this year ( keep an eye out on our facebook page), and in the new year we will have a metal night on the second saturday of every month as well as special nights in between. We are hoping to have bands like seventh angel and the former lead singer of iron maiden. So watch our facebook page for details. Please note that The Royal Oak has changed hands. No more heavy metal but I'm sure the new owner (Steve) will be just as welcoming as the old one. Good news is that the beer and food are very good!!
