2011 Provisional MotoGP calendar announced


Yamaha Racing fans can now schedule the key dates next year when they need to be either in front of the television or at the track side to see Jorge Lorenzo, Ben Spies, Cal Crutchlow and Colin Edwards battle it out on their YZR-M1 Yamaha motorcycles in the 2011 MotoGP season. The provisional calendar features the GP of Aragon again following a successful visit there this year.

March 20 - Qatar – Doha Losail (Evening race)
April 3 - Spain - Jerez de la Frontera
April 24 - Japan - Motegi
May 1 - Portugal - Estoril
May 15 - France - Le Mans
June 5 - Catalunya - Catalunya
June 12 - Great Britain - Silverstone
June 25 - Netherlands - Assen (Saturday Race)
July 3 - Italy - Mugello
July 17 - Germany - Sachsenring
July 24 - United States - Laguna Seca (Only MotoGP class)
August 14 - Czech Rep. - Brno
August 28 - Indianapolis - Indianapolis
September 4 - San Marino and Riviera di Rimini - Misano
September 18 - Aragon - Motorland Aragon
October 16 - Australia - Phillip Island
October 23 - Malaysia - Sepang
November 6 - Valencia - Ricardo Tormo – Valencia

Looks like I can organise the SWB Camping weekend now! End of May should mean I don't clash with any races and I would really like to get to the British GP next year too. :D

Mmm, fancy a weekend of Autumn sunshine in northern Spain then col?

Plymouth/Portsmouth - Santander ferry looks like £2-250 for bike, rider & berth in shared cabin :wink: and you get a nice ride along the Pyrenees into the bargain ......
