buy and r1 or keep my gsxr?

hey guys, well with xmas and birthday coming up soon im considering treating myself,

ive narrowed it down to buying an R1 around 2000 model or spending some pennies doing up my gsxr1100wp.

thought id get some peoples opinions before i decide.

any thoughts welcome :)

R1 all the way, early models get a bit stroppy if you yank on the throttle to hard from the off, but all in all good sports bike to own. :D

you could always go down the boring honda route, or even get yaself a poor mans cycle(kwak) who let that duck in? na seriously if you want somefing thats not quite perfect and slightly edgy R1 or gixxer, then again theres the 04 zx10, um not sure meself now. :roll:

haha,, well im only gunna have 2000 to 2500, already had a fireblade, wanted an r1 since i was like 10 :mrgreen:

but have been thinking should i just spend the money on the gsxr and have something one off, or am i wasting my time with such a heavy bike.

You are wasting money spending too much on that barge of a 1100 thats for sure. Atleast an early R1 is still fairly modern. You can also get early GSXR1000's quite cheap too, if you like the generic boring sports bike look.
