Grease !!

Post by freeze »

Went to CMS today to pick up grease for regreasing thr rear wheel bearings, and came home with a pair of heated gloves!!! They had been set up that morning on display and I had the last pair. Was thinking of putting on heated grips but this seemed to be a better option. Anyone had any experience with Keis Heated Apparel? pic of gloves is below.

Have a direct connection to bike battery, with plug but you can also buy portable battery packs with temp controller. Battery is a bit smaller than a fag packet but apparently has a 7 hour battery life at high power.

I like the idea of a battery, I wouldn't like to be hooked into the bike though, unless there is a quick release.

I can see these would be useful if you own more than one bike which you ride in cold weather, but can't help feeling heated grips would be more practical in normal use? I'd be worried about just forgetting about them in normal use and constantly ripping the connections? let alone if you part company with the bike .....

Personally, I'm tending towards the principle that if you need heated grips/handwarmers cos of the weather, you should really be in the car
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Handle stressful situations like a dog - If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away
