OK well at last I have decided what to do bike wise, my current zzr1100 that has been off road for a while, i am going to stick on ebay as is, spares or repair (could be be a bargin for someone) and I now have pretty much fixed up a deal for a zx636 C1. Now the bike has pretty much all I want except a few bits so looking for some advice/guidence as I have been out of it for some years.
I want a rear hugger for it, as of course its the one thing it does not have and not only do I not like how that looks, yet will save a lot of the mud and the like getting to where i dont want it. So what rear hugger? anyone advice please? the bike is green, cant make my mind up on a black or a green so again any thoughts would be great.
The next one is I have been enlightened to these 'love handles' for pillions. Anyone recommend the best ones? I want the handles to be adjustable (if thats possible) as to where they go on the set up to suit my odd pillion, I have been looking at the oxford ones, i 'think' they are adjustable, yet not seen any so dont know. So again I hope i can draw on peoples knowledge.

Oh and I forgot to add (could not find an edit button) I keep seeing people talking about pillion none slip seat covers, again any direction on this would be great.

Powerbronze do a nice hugger and I think they do it in kwak green too! No idea on the lovehandles but iv only heard good things about the tiller cap hand grips although I believe they r. a bit pricey...

Powerbronze or Skidmarks for the hugger, love handles I would say go for the Motrax ones as I've used them and are adjustable. Triboseat do rear covers that go over the seat to advoid slipping. I made one myself for my GSXR slingshot out of the non slip matting, only cost £5 where as the Triboseat ones were about £19 at the time. Hope this helps.

I do like the powerbronze ones and they are currently on sale, yet the let down is the mesh, muck and mud will still sneak through and all that eaxtra cleaning, so going for the skidmarx one, thank you for the advice.
The seat none slip thing, i have looked at and like the idea, all of £13 i may well try it, if it saves some helmet crash, I would be more than happy.
Love handles wise, not an easy thing to look at online I have to say, so I am going to visit a few bike shops i think as I will know what I like when I see them.

Slightly off-topic, but where are you looking at the bike? I ask because I px'd my old bike (green zx6r c1h) at Irelands at the beginning of the month...if you are not looking at it consider it.

The C1/6 and later models def look best in green in my opinion. Some of the earlier models suit other colours.

Oh and personally never found a decent hugger that I liked the look of, originally fitted a Powerbronze (i think) which lasted approximately a month before I decided it looked a bit pants and took it off.

Oh and the green ones go faster

Just out of interest, I just bought some non slip matting from Tesco, in their £1 bargain area. I have no idea how tough or long lasting it will be but for a quid its worth a go ;) . My regular pillion is not available for quite a while so i can't really test it properly, but if you want to try it and let us know how it goes that would be cool

Oh I wonder what you bought in Tesco? as for £1.00 seems like a deal to me, I have seen this none slip rubber type stuff you can get for the car dash aimed at mobile phones and things, yet think after one trip it would be no good, yet guess if it was swen into a base material to toughen it up it may work, I think from looking at Tridoseat its something like they do, yet theirs is all of £13 delivered.
So what is this stuff from Tesco's? I dont have a Tesco near me, but my daughter does and can get her to collect me some to try.

This is true, well we have an express here in the town, nearest main one is like 15 miles away, yet they are talking of building one in the town in the next 2 years, so resistance is in fact futile.

It was just in the £1 discount section where they sell bits and pieces for the home etc, i also bought some scissors which were crap, so i can't guarantee this stuff won't be either. It was just sold rolled up and called non slip matting? It looked like all the other types of non slip, but how hard wearing it is I have no idea yet.Hope that helps ;)

There is a company on e-bay who make ready-shaped non-slip pillion pads for various bikes. I have tried one and it seems to work fine. The only snag is that they tie under the seat and I have a tail-bag so it gets a bit cluttered.

I will have to take a look (well mention to my daughter about the £1.00 bargin bucket).

The one you got from Ebay, was it about £13.00? and what is it like apart from it tieing under the seat, do they really make it that much better an experiance for rider and pillion? or is that just a lot of hype, also less helmet crash? as I hate that lol
