Simmo - angel or devil??????

Post by badgerKDD »

So seeing as no one has offered any opions yet i thought I'd open it up...

Simoncelli, I reckon he's the most exciting thing to happen to Moto GP this season. Finally someone with a little passion for winning. So he takes risks and sometimes things go hideously wrong but at least he's putting it in there instead of the ' accept the points and take second or third' mentality of the other top riders........

What do you lot reckon?

I doubt that anyone would deny he has livened up a very boring season so far.

I think Paul Butler would have slapped Simo's wrists with his fingers crossed behind his back considering he lived through the hunt, sheene, doohan eras.

Dare I say it, but F1 is more exciting this year...

devil  but the best thing about motogp at the moment. A very poor grid, but with some top quality riders who i wish would get into some race long dices. Still 13th sounds better than " 2nd from last" for Rossi. But the worst thing about moto gp is a certain crap Aussie who winds me up every time he says stripe,as you like, bubble car etc etc etc %-(

I agree, he's certainly livened things up a little, though I'm sure he'd love to 'accept the points and take second or third' if he could!

Julian, watch Eurosport, there's no crap Aussie on that channel mate! ;)

here we go i thought, had it on, hopping channel between BSB and GP, and was actually almost exited by the GP.. riders finishing a race with less than 10seconds between each other. Heres hoping it's the start of a more eventfull, in the tyre side down sense, rest of the season... I mean, they even over took each other!!! In the mean time WSB's is deffinitely where it's at, where the men are men and sheep are nervous.. did just say that...
As for Simo.. what a crazy mad ass bike riding god, the guys a legend... despite his recent form. No Championship crown maybe but just head down and kick ass... Honda need to give him the full factory ride, yeah pedrosa's proving himself but he's had how long to finally do something... Simo on Pedrosa'a bike and see the field melt behind him

Yes, I believe it is but who had the newest, bestest bits and pieces first... Even when Hayden was fighting for the title and then 07 season when he was the raining champ... Not Hayden. Poor old Danni still never won a blinkin thing. brides made syndrome. But still the Honda machine loved and still do love him more than anyone else it would appear.

Lemoncelli is 100% angel.

I get a buzz watching moto gp qualifying. Best riders in the world on the best bikes is enough for me but Simmo is the testicles.

He doesnt give a feck about reputations or the Rossi PR committee he just stuffs it up anyone not quick enough to keep him behind.

I cant wait to hear the cheers when he gets his first podium. :D

I know nothing about roundy roundy racing, BUT I do know that the couple of races I have seen when we had family down and they put it on TV, I have almost enjoyed watching it

I personally think that sideshow Bob is great,
