Sorry i dont know if this has been asked before so here we go.
I have been looking for wavey discs for my RR and keep finding the chinese ones on fleabay and then argue with myself for a few days (its my age i think) then forget it and start the whole process again.
SO has anybody used them or heard good/bad things?

Brakes have got a lot of hard work to do,so need to be good quality to haul your ass to a stop time and time again, sometimes from high speeds. Do you want to risk your life by sticking some cheap chinese crappy discs of an unknown quantity on your bike that may disintegrate when you need them most? If the answer is yes,buy them. if the answer is no, buy some from a reputable brand and source.

On the flip side, just because they're from China doesn't mean they're crap quality. Most stuff is made in China, anyway. They can make good quality items aswell.
It is a lot cheaper than other brands, but dont forget that European brands will probably have large overheads and will want to make a lot of money to fuel their Ferrari's. Whereas the Chinese companies can afford to sell for less and roll around like kings on their brand new Honda C90's. Funky spent a sh!t load of cash on these top quality brake discs (they looked like turd mind) but they were actually terrible quality too.
Reports I've heard have been fairly good, one I saw said they warped but was quickly replaced and the replacement was fine. It's a risk, thats for sure.

My brakes were from stealth and they scariest things ever. I thought I was buying good ol' sheffield steel. Turns out to be shite made pig iron.
I'd wait and hang around until you hear a good review about them.

A lot of guys from the zx9 forum say that the blackshadow discs are good, might do to keep them in mind as well.

ive got chinese front wavys on my GSXR and they are very good quality, not had any trouble fitting or riding with them and had them circa 2000 miles.
with the chinese ones always read the reviews as to what people have said about them to get an idea about the product which you can just see as a thumbnail photograph
got blackshadow wavy on the rear and they are the mutts nuts, made in the UK and extremely good quality =)
