well had a crash with my mate as said last week,

we both said we are in the wrong and were going to fix our own bike/car

ive been buying bits for mine but just discovered my forks are bent.

so on top of needing

full fairing,
both headlights.
and engine casing
footpeg and hanger
front brake lever
all the ram air stuff
and a petrol tank.

i now need a set of forks aswell :((

i cant claim on insurance either :/

bikes on finance so i cant even sell it in bits to try and make some money back :/

what does everyone suggest i do? :(

ebay or any Yam forums you can find. Parts are a lot cheaper in the states if you can find a reliable source and a route past customs ......

You could always try Philpotts , they straighten forks maybe cheaper http://www.pittedforks.co.uk/fork-straightening.php

USD forks rarely straighten - they oval the ally slider where the seal sits and will invariably have a constant weep for ever after .....

i have a 98-02 r6 bottom yolk if needed? lol
buying forks from fleabay aint a bad thing mate, just make sure its a reputable breakers you purchase from.
failing that,is it the stantions or outer fork legs that are bent or both?
tickerty has some r1 forks etc hes got offline thats going on his fazer thou and are good to go.
so i guess its a personal prefferance but you cant go wrong plus its cheaper that way,i could get a set of forks for my
2000 r6 for 50quid delivered so im guessing yours wont be much more mate.
you might even get a bundle of bits you need from the same place costing you less in postage and may even get the rest cheaper due to buying multiple parts.

i found some forks on ebay for £450 so may go for those.

its only the outer that is bent, tiniest little bit, but it can be straightened :/
