please :ymhug: Anyone from around these parts recommend me some roads from Bude area down to Lands End? Looking on the map it doesn't look like we're spoilt for choice but if someone could give me an idea what the B roads are like down that coastline I would be grateful. Was thinking of coming back out of Bude and picking up the B3254 to Launceston, but that takes back in land a bit.Whats the B3263/3314 like down through Boscastle and Delabole? And basically all the other B roads down the coastline. Will we be able to make decent progress or are they singletrack lanes with limited visibility? Roads to Avoid?
Biker Friendly B+B near Lands End?
Thanks in advance!!

the A 39 to wadebridge is ok not a boring straight a road, Be careful in Allen valley between Camelford and wadebridge though, it gets a bit boring after wadebridge, you can go down to Padstow from there and cut along to Newquay, but i have not done anything from Newquay down ,

from Newquay down all roads are like a magic carpet of bends and coastal 100mph straights :D :D ( not that we ever do officer ;) ), ah actually if you just follow the coast road to st.ives its a good mix of twisties and a bit of A30, b ut be warned, it can be a bit muddy at this time of year, the full coast road from St. Ives to Lands End is hit and mix,get it on a good day with no coaches, O.A.P's, tractors and mud and its a great mix of 90 deg. bends and twisters, but meet any of the above either way and it becomes a boring slow slog. Better to head out of St. Ives on the Penzance road and then head down to Lands end that way, inland but just as twisty and two lane all the way :D !
Again when you head away from Lands End, head back towards Penzance and then choose your route, the south coast road is a good clear twisty road, but is peppered with speed limits, coppers with speed guns, O.A.P's etc, get it on the right day and time its a fun ride though. Otherwise head inland from the Penzance to Helston road, there are a variety of roads to take, B3280 to Camorne or carry on to Redruth, B3302 to B3303 to Camborne, B3297 to Redruth. To be honest pick up a visitors map of Cornwall and just pick out some roads, they are all a mix of twisted, two way but narrow roads. Or stick to the main roads and hope its a quiet day. Depends how long you've got and you can head back and forth across the county on a variety of roads, the choice gets wider as you head North, :D :D as the county gets wider ;)

its suprising how deceptive a map is, the whole run from bude to lands end down the coast is good, fantastic in parts and scary in others. Just follow your nose and have fun

i had a great run from Bude across to launceston a few months back, relatively traffic free and police free too

Bude to Camelford to Wadebridge to Padstow then pick the coastal road down to Newquay is a good ride.

Also the little loop I like to do is take the A395 from Camelford to Launceston, then the B3254 to Bude, then the A39 from Bude back to Camelford.

Or I do the A39 from Camelford to Wadebridge, then go to Bodmin then head back on the B3266 back to Camelford
