Crash!

So I went for a leisurely ride on saturday afternoon planning to end up in Weymouth. I had clear roads all the way until I reached the Ringstead area where I took my place in the traffic behind a couple on a CBR Thunderbird. Just in front of them was a Nissan Micra and in front of them a Range Rover Sport. Just as we approached the turning for Ringstead beach the driver of the Range Rover must have realised at the last second that this was his turning....slammed his brakes on and started to turn left. This forced the guy behind driving the Micra to brake hard, unfortunately the next thing I see is the CBR plow into the back of the Micra which in turn catapulted the pillion into the air as the bike went vertical. I managed to stop and avoid both the riders and the bike. I used my bike to block the road and ran over to the other riders. At this point the c**t in the Range Rover did a runner, unfortunately no one got the number plate. The bloke was fine, up and walking, maybe a little shaken but OK. He was talking to his pillion who was lying on the ground next to the bike. She had landed hard on her side banging her head and leg. Her first words were "how are the kids?" ??? She must have hit her head pretty hard because she thought she was in a car with the kids in the back. The police were on site within 5 mins of the accident and the ambulance about 10 mins later. Whilst Karen (the pillion) was in the back of the ambulance getting treated we picked up the CBR, and the bits of cracked fairing and got it running. Luckily only cosmetic damage to the bike. The ambulance gave the pillion the all clear then gave her a lift home. I followed behind the CBR to make sure he and his bike made it back home. Needless to say that put me of riding for the rest of the day. Luckily no was was seriously hurt but I do hope karma takes care of the Range Rover driver.
