To make it more exciting I reckon they should release cars moto the circuit after 40 mins. Should encourage some faster riders and more risky overtakes.

It's always a shame when someone with massive skills and talent bows out early. BUT,there are always exceptions lol.

Gutted. Best rider on the track at the mo and the only one who can win on a Ducrapi.

Now, get Cal on the factory Honda and lets see him pick up the title.

Agreed marquez is a superb talent

Marquez couldn't ride a Repsol bike next year, rookies aren't allowed factory rides any more....

Plenty has been written on forums about Stoner's personality, but that aside he was the only one who could do anything on a Ducati recently, and he made the rest of them look pretty darned average last season. He also does the best victory celebration wheelies...

As much as it pains me to admit he does handle those rear slides very impressively ;)

I do wonder how much Honda's reluctance to fix the chatter problem is wearing thin with him? Also maybe fatherhood has brought a change of heart towards putting his life on the line every two weeks, especialy after Simmo's untimely demise last year.

I'm about as far from a Stoner fan as you can get, but I do think MotoGP will be poorer for his passing

It does seem strange for someone so young to pack in so early, but he has always been one for odd/spontaneous decisions. Perhaps Honda might take an interest in a certain Italian .......

I love watching stoner. He has amazing bike control and is the most exciting rider to watch bar none. If I were him I would be fed up too. Why would he enjoy moto gp? He’s clearly the best rider yet everyone keeps going on about Rossi. Motor sport fans my arse, I bet they also enjoy x-factor, big brother etc…

I hope ducati persuade him out of retirement and he proves that an adaptable rider can make that bike a race winner…….

As for Rossi to Honda, no way. He is one of the best ever, we all love him , but he has had his day. Honda race to prove the worth of their bike, not the rider….

I wonder if Honda will offer Dovi his old ride back? His form so far this year has showed his quality.
