Now that was a top race, that young pup really pissed off Mr 'up his own ass', Rossi seems to be a bit bemused by the race and what I really want to see is Cal with a factory bike to see what a difference it makes.
And that final corner..........

Agreed. Did chuckle when Marquez barged through on the inside - well it is racing ?
Looks like Cal is a little pissed as Yamaha may force Tech3 to take Espagaro, where will Cal go ?

Hoping that Rossi would have been up in the mix, is he saving it for Mugello ?

With most other teams already tied into riders on two year contracts Cal has very few options open to him. Either take the risk of joining Ducati ( who messed him about and can't sort their chassis, still), Suzuki, who return next season with a new bike but also two years behind in development terms or go to a CRT team and faff about in the lower ranks hoping Dorna change the rules so it becomes competitive to ride one ;) .
Looking a bit Hobsons Choice to me

Now we are talking, 4 of us going over, hopefully going to watch the first races on the Thursday evening, bit of a day off Friday, probably going over to Ballymoney, Joeys bar and the memorial gardens are always worth a visit before the main event on Saturday

Sounds like Tech3 / Yamaha are still hurting over Cal's original plan to jump ship to Ducati :
"On the other hand, when we renegotiated in mid-2012, Cal talked to us but was also in discussions with Ducati. He told me Ducati would be his priority if he had the opportunity, just as Andrea (Dovizioso) did, because they both wanted to be full factory riders. Ducati chose Andrea and Cal ended up staying with us, but he had been ready to go in mid-2012 and so only renewed his deal with us for a year in order to maintain the opportunity of being on the rider market for 2013, to try and become a factory rider which would be a dream for him. Had he signed for two years, he would not be in this situation now. For him, Tech 3 might be Plan B, but each rider manages his own situation and it is true that Cal is a bit boisterous. There is a market out there, though, and Yamaha are free to make their own choices.".
